Abstract

Organizational commitment together with emotional intelligence and ethical leadership influence knowledge sharing through the mediator effect of organizational citizenship behaviour (OCB). The paper bases its investigation on Social Exchange Theory to understand how employees' willingness to exceed their formal duties supports a knowledge-sharing culture that is affected by these factors. The researchers gathered data through quantitative methods from insurance industry employees at top Pakistani companies. The study used structural equation modelling to analyze the variable connection patterns. Ethical leadership combined with emotional intelligence and commitment levels in the organization demonstrate strong positive effects on OCB that lead employees toward knowledge-sharing behaviour. This research solidifies how an organization's integrity in leadership combined with emotional skills enables leadership commitment to develop workplace engagement. Organizations should launch leadership training as well as emotional intelligence development programs to strengthen workplace collaboration and innovation according to practical implications. Researchers should investigate extended timeframes through prolonged studies while expanding this work across different industrial sectors and cultural environments.
