Abstract

Research methodology is a systematic approach used to explain, analyze, and solve a research problem. It involves not only identifying the appropriate research methods and techniques but also understanding the rationale behind their selection and application. Researchers must comprehend various statistical tools such as mean, mode, chi-square, and confidence indices, and determine their relevance and significance to the specific problem at hand. Moreover, methodology involves evaluating the assumptions underlying different techniques and  selecting those most suitable to the nature of the research. A clear understanding of both qualitative and quantitative research approaches is essential. Effective research methodology ensures that the investigation is logically structured, scientifically grounded, and tailored to the unique characteristics of the problem being studied. Therefore, researchers must carefully design and align their methodology with the research objectives, as it plays a critical role in ensuring the validity, reliability, and credibility of the research outcomes.
