Abstract

This bibliographic study explores the critical factors influencing the performanceof
women entrepreneurs, focusing on the socio-cultural, economic, and individual
barriers they face. Despite the growing presence of women in entrepreneurshipglobally, they continue to encounter significant challenges, particularly in developingregions like Pakistan. Social expectations, limited access to finance, and gender bias have historically hindered their entrepreneurial ventures. However, recent trends
indicate that women entrepreneurs are making substantial contributions toeconomic development, particularly in service-based sectors. This researchsynthesizes existing literature to identify the key factors that shape their success, including education, family support, access to capital, and network development. The findings emphasize the importance of tailored policies, financial inclusion, andmentorship programs to empower women entrepreneurs. By addressing thesebarriers and fostering an inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystem, womencansignificantly enhance their economic impact and create sustainable business ventures. The study underscores the need for continuous support, policy reforms, and further research to unlock the full potential of women in entrepreneurship.
